FENIX FORCE TERMS & CONDITIONS

By participating in a Fenix Force guided hike, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk & Personal Responsibility

  • Hiking is a physically demanding activity that involves risks, including but not limited to, falls, wildlife encounters, and exposure to natural elements.
  • Participants must assess their own fitness levels before joining a hike. Fenix Force and its guides are not responsible for any injuries, medical conditions, or adverse effects resulting from participation.
  • You participate at your own risk and assume full responsibility for your safety and well-being during the hike.

2. Health & Fitness Requirements

  • All participants must be in good health and able to complete the designated trail.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically capable of completing the hike.
  • If you have any medical conditions, please consult your doctor before joining.

3. Essential Gear & Hydration

  • All hikers must bring sufficient water (minimum 2 liters per person). Failure to bring adequate water will result in exclusion from the hike.
  • Proper hiking attire and footwear are required. Hiking Socks are recommended. No sandals, flip-flops, or inappropriate footwear.
  • Sunscreen, hats, and weather-appropriate clothing are strongly recommended.
  • A small backpack is advised to carry personal items.

4. No Smoking, Alcohol & Substance

  • Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and the use of any recreational drugs are strictly prohibited before and during the hike.

5. Respect for Nature & Leave No Trace

  • Littering is strictly prohibited, this includes apple cores, banana and orange peels. All trash must be carried out and disposed of responsibly.
  • Do not disturb wildlife, pick plants, or remove natural objects, including rocks.
  • Stick to marked trails and follow the guide’s instructions at all times.

6. Group Etiquete & Cooperation
  • Participants must stay with the group unless otherwise instructed by the guide.
  • Disruptive behaviour, including excessive noise, inappropriate language, or disrespect toward guides and fellow hikers, will not be tolerated.
  • The guide’s instructions must be followed at all times for safety and enjoyment.

7. Liability Waver

  • Fenix Force, its guides, and affiliates are not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the hike.
  • By participating, you waive any claims against Fenix Force for incidents arising before, during, or after the hike.

8. Cancellations & No-Show Policy

  • If you can no longer attend, please inform the organiser in advance.
  • Refunds or rescheduling (if applicable) are subject to the hike’s cancellation policy.
  • No refunds if permits have already been purchased.

By joining a Fenix Force hike, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in removal from the hike without refund.
